Rochelle has a massage studio within the Joy of Movement studio to work with clients.

As a deep tissue and therapeutic massage therapist, Rochelle has been giving, receiving and studying bodywork for 25 years. She is a practitioner and continuing student of Deep Bodywork, a blend of deep tissue techniques in the lineage of Ida Rolf and Esalen style massage. Recently she is mentoring with Matthew Hartman, a Rolfer and massage instructor. Bringing her understanding of experiential anatomy and movement to the massage table, she offers a more comprehensive approach to bodywork.

For clients looking for a more restorative massage session, hot stones used as tools and placed on the body and Doterra essential oils are used. As a Biodynamic Cranial Sacral therapist and teacher trainer assistant, the fluid pulse is always part of any treatment. Somatic Psychotherapy has always been a part of Rochelle’s studies.

  • She has completed certification in:

  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute trauma training course

  • Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing course

  • Bill Bowen’s Psycho-Physical Therapy

  • Bodynamic Psychotherapy training with Theresa Beldon and Kitty Chelton

  • Developmental Psychology continues to fascinate her.

When Rochelle is not in the studio, she enjoys spending time with her little dog Fawna, planting seeds in jars and seeing what grows, reading all sorts of fiction and non-fiction, watching any film or documentary that moves her, cultivating playlists of music of every genre and just generally be amazed by the universe.
